This process is for reporting content on Dropsera that infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights — most likely an image, logo, or text a user uploaded or generated into their store, or product imagery pulled in during analysis/store generation. It applies globally, regardless of where you or the infringing content are located.
A note on product images specifically: a product photo being publicly visible on a supplier marketplace (e.g. an AliExpress listing) does not automatically mean it's free of third-party copyright — submitting a URL to us doesn't clear that image of rights someone else may hold in it.
What to include in your complaint
Email team@dropsera.com with:
- Your name and contact details.
- A description of the copyrighted work or other IP right you claim is being infringed.
- The specific location of the allegedly infringing content on Dropsera (a URL, store slug, or as precise a description as possible).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury where applicable, that the information in your complaint is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act on their behalf.
What happens next
We review complaints and, where warranted, remove or disable access to the reported content and notify the user responsible for it. We may also terminate accounts of users found to be repeat infringers, per our Acceptable Use Policy.
Scope note — not exclusively DMCA
Where we reference specific procedures like the US DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act) takedown process, that's a US-specific legal mechanism, not a statement that US copyright law is the only law that applies — this process is meant to be usable by rights holders anywhere, under whichever copyright/IP law actually governs their claim.
